BAMF Beard Company was founded by Chris Coppick in February of 2022. At the time, Chris was working as a Corrections Officer at Lucasville and a first responder, roles that carried intense stress and emotional weight. What began as a simple hobby became an outlet for mental health and a way to escape the pressure of the job and reconnect with creativity. From woodworking flags to exploring various hands-on projects, creating became therapy.
That hobby eventually led him into the bearded community, where he met incredible people, built genuine relationships, and found a renewed sense of purpose. What started as a personal escape quickly evolved into a mission to create honest, high-quality beard care products that actually work for hardworking men.
BAMF Beard Company is not just a brand. It is a journey. One that has allowed Chris to work alongside his family, rebuild connections, and spend meaningful time creating something together. Formulation is led by Katie Coppick, a licensed cosmetologist with over 15 years of experience in the beauty industry. Her professional expertise ensures that every product is crafted with premium, salon-grade ingredients designed to keep your beard healthy, soft, and looking badass.
Behind the scenes, Kevin Coppick, an Army veteran and tech expert, brings BAMF to life online. His dedication to design, function, and detail ensures the brand looks as sharp as it feels.
Michelle Coppick, Kevin’s wife, is a true workhorse and a driving force within the company. She puts her heart and soul into BAMF, supporting day-to-day operations, fulfilling orders, and showing up at vendor events to ensure everything runs smoothly. Her dedication and commitment help keep the brand moving forward.
